Incapacity to work can severely impact your financial foundation.

We offer you the opportunity to take out an incapacity to work insurance, which with a monthly payout can help alleviate the financial strain if things go wrong.

Incapacity to work insurance can be taken out up to the age of 60.

The insurance period can last until the age of 67.

You are entitled to this benefit if your work capacity is reduced by 2/3 or more. The payout starts 3 months after the inability to work is confirmed.

Incapacity to work benefit

You are entitled to this benefit if your work capacity is reduced by 2/3 or more. The payout begins 3 months after the inability to work is confirmed. The payout will continue as long as the inability to work persists and the insured person is alive. However, the payout will stop once the agreed insurance period ends.

The annual insurance amount will be paid out in monthly instalments.

Income insurance

Income protection insurance means that LÍV will pay your income if your work capacity is reduced by 2/3 or more. Three months after the disability is confirmed, LÍV will continue the income payments as long as the disability persists. The maximum duration of this period is according to the terms of the insurance agreement.

Once we have received your request, we will ask for the necessary information from the healthcare provider and/or your doctor so that we can process the case.
