This can be in relation to insurance claims for disability or serious illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The policyholder always has the right to appeal the decision in court. However, this can take a long time and become very costly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ease the appeal process, L\u00cdV is a member of the Anken\u00e6vnet for Forsikring (the Danish Insurance Complaints Board). Therefore, it is possible to appeal the decision to Anken\u00e6vnet, if the decision was made in connection with an insurance event after December 1, 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before an appeal can be submitted to Anken\u00e6vnet for Forsikring, the policyholder must have attempted to reach a satisfactory settlement with L\u00cdV.
