WELCOME<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

L\u00cdV has agreements with most
trade unions. The trade union
offer its members insurance and
pension in cooperation with Tryggingarfelagi\u00f0 L\u00cdV. The agreement is valid for members, but membership can also be conditional on full work capability. Insurance ceases the month after you reach the pension age. If you are no longer a member or when you leave your job. If you leave the scheme before retirement age, continuation of the insurance can be arranged with L\u00cdV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GROUP INSURANCE<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The insurance part is arranged as a group insurance and pays out according to agreement between L\u00cdV and our union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPECIFICATION<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

In event of death before reaching the pension age, the insurane will be paid out according to specification. It will be paid out to the “next of kin” unless another written agreement his made with L\u00cdV. ” Next of kin” initially refers to the surviving spouse. If there is no spouse, it will be paid out to the children. If there are no children, payment will be made according to the will\/law of inheritance.

If you wish the insurance amount to be paid out to others than the “next of kin”, for example, to a cohabiting partner, this must be notified to L\u00cdV in writing.<\/strong>

L\u00cdV pension<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you can choose the risk level you want. But keep in mind that higher the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

risk level, the higher the expected return, but correspondingly the risk is also higher. The savings are invested in securities and yield intrest at market rates. L\u00cdV operates with a dynamic scheme meaning that investments are made considering how close you are to your tetirement age. L\u00cdV’s advice is that your investment risk should decrease as you approach retirement age.
